Set your smoker to 250°F and prepare it with Pecan wood. Spray the turkey legs with duck fat spray as a binder, then generously coat them with Lillie's Q Rub. Place the seasoned turkey legs in the smoker and cook at 250°F until their internal temperature reaches 165°F. At this point, coat the turkey legs with your favorite BBQ sauce and continue smoking until the internal temperature reaches 180°F (dark meat can handle this higher temperature). Once done, remove the turkey legs from the smoker, wrap them in foil with some butter, and let them rest for at least 20 minutes. Before serving, make sure to pour any accumulated butter from the foil over the legs.View original recipe
