What you need

tsp salt & pepper

clove garlic clove

cup parmesan cheese

lb ground pork

oz tomato paste

cup fresh basil

cup ricotta cheese

tbsp olive oil

tsp smoked paprika

lb ziti pasta
Instructions
Boil ziti until just shy of al dente (it will finish cooking in the smoker). Drain and set aside. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground pork and cook until browned. Stir in onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook another 1โ2 minutes. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and all seasonings. Simmer for 15โ20 minutes until slightly thickened. Assemble the Ziti: Preheat your smoker to 275ยฐF with @bearmountainbbq Tailgate BBQ - Blend of Oak, Maple, Hickory, and Cherry. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, pork sauce, ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, and mix well. Transfer mixture into a greased disposable aluminum pan. Top with remaining cheese. Place the pan in the smoker, uncovered. Smoke for 45โ60 minutes until cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly browned. For extra smoky flavor, you can cover for the first half and uncover for the last 20 minutes. Let rest 10 minutes before enjoying!View original recipe
