Beef "Lo Mein" - Empty The Fridge Meal
Simple, Quick & Delicious - Do you ever just throw together a meat with whatever is on hand? Mine is usually stuff that was leftover from other meals or when we called an audible to change the daily menu! Ingredients • 16-18 oz Steak (of your choice) - I used @beutlerbeef Stew Meat • 12 oz lo mein noodles • @darksideofthegrill Marinade • 1 tbsb Rice Wine • 2 tbsp @trybachans • 1 tbsp cornstarch Sauce • 2 tbsp Bachans • 1 tsp oyster sauce • 1 tbsp sesame oil • 1 tbsp @bearandburtons W Sauce Stir Fry • 2 tbsp @chosenfoods Avocado Oil • 2 tbsp minced garlic • ½ c chopped onions • 1 c sliced Portobello Mushrooms • 1 c Green Beans INSTRUCTIONS • Combine the steak with the marinade ingredients in a medium-sized bowl. Mix until well coated and marinate for 15-30 min • Mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl • Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Rinse under running cold water to stop cooking. Drain and toss with a drizzle of sesame oil to prevent sticking • In a hot skillet, spread the marinated steak. Cook without disturbing until the bottom turns golden brown, 1 minute or so. Flip to cook the other side until browned, but the inside is still a bit pink. Transfer the beef to a big plate and set aside • Reduce the heat to medium-high and add oil. Add the garlic. Stir a few times to release the fragrance, about 30 seconds • Add onions, green beans, and cook till semi tender • Add mushrooms • Add the noodles and pour in the sauce and toss everything together. • Add back the cooked steak and toss again until the sauce is fully absorbed • Top with green onion greens and sesame seeds

bunch green onion

oz steak

tbsp rice wine
cup sweet onion

cup green beans

tbsp worcestershire sauce

tbsp sesame oil

tbsp avocado oil

tsp oyster sauce
tbsp cornstarch
tbsp fresh garlic
