Grease a 9x5 inch pan. In a bowl, mix all wet ingredients (butter, sugar, cream cheese, eggs, vanilla extract), reserving the buttermilk. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, Kosher salt). Gradually combine the wet and dry ingredients. Once everything is combined, add the buttermilk. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries by hand (the dough will be thick). Bake on the grill or in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 50 minutes. For the first 20 minutes, loosely cover the pan with foil, then remove the foil for the remainder of the baking time. Allow the bread to rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving. Optionally, serve with fresh whipped cream.
